This Is The Beginning of Backyard Bling

Hello. Welcome to my blog.

I must warn you up front... I'm no writer. I'm pretty sure the little bit I plan to write will have you cringing. But I'm going to push forward anyway.

I'm the type of person who tends to have a million projects in the hopper, with no one project being complete. Part of this is my fault, the other part I'm blaming on my husband... just because I can!

I actually hope starting this blog will keep my projects on track, and also give me a little accountability to complete my projects.

I've added some tabs across the top that are just a few of the ongoing projects in my life. Here is a quick run down on what each tab will be about.

"The Poop Deck"- This will be all things chickens. I have 6 hens and a roster. I'd like to try and hatch some baby chicks in the spring of 2018. I live on about an acre and a half of land, so I have plenty of room to add to my little ranch. I would also like to add ducks, and maybe some mini pigs.

"Growing Up Garden" - Some of these are kinda obvious. Haha! This project is still one that is on paper, but I'm hoping to add some raised beds over the fall so I can start planting in the spring of 2018. I've been reading all I can about gardening, I think I'm really going to enjoy it. This section will include flowerbeds as well as vegetable/fruit beds.

"Porch Sittin" - I've become obsessed with making our outside living area as nice as our inside living area. My back porch is pretty much the way I want it, but my front porch is in for a complete makeover... hopefully early next year. I have a feeling I'm gonna be super busy next year!

"From My Window" - My husband and I do quite a bit of traveling. We love to do short little road trips all over Texas. We've done road trips out of state as well. We love to go down side/back roads, and I love to take pictures... from my side of the truck of course. I will be sharing some stories of our travels along with pictures.

"Sew Beautiful" - I have a sewing/craft room that is my favorite room in the house. Not only do I sew and craft in there, but I have a TV and a little recliner in there. During football season I hibernate in there and binge watch Netflix. Since I went back to work I don't have as much time to sew/craft as I would like, but when I do, you can bet I will be sharing it on this page. I'm also in the process of remodeling in there, so I'm sure picture will be coming.

"This & That" - I added this page for all those left over things I may want to share. I have no idea right now what may end up on this page. LoL. Should make it interesting =)

Since I'm not a great writer, you can bet there will be tons of pictures on these pages. I hope whatever I put down, whether it's words or pictures, it will bring you a smile.

Thanks for joining me.
Tammy
