After the coop clean up (Poop Deck), I spent the rest of my Sunday in the sewing room. I sewed until 11:00pm. On the agenda, baby blankets for my littlest grand girl. I made four blankets with matching burp towels. Since going back to work I haven't had time to really get in the sewing room and sew, so it was a treat to spend the day in my favorite room! I could make these little flannel blankets everyday if I had the chance.

So last night my church group met and had a Pinterest Party. I highly recommend it. It was loads of fun and we made lots of cute craft projects. We made some pumpkins from fabric, a snowman tissue jar, some candy canes and a "Gobble 'Til Ya Wobble" plaque. Good company and good food you just can't go wrong!!

So... not all projects that come from the sewing room deal with sewing. The last couple of days I've been working on a project for my church. I'm very involved with, WOW - Women of Worth, which is our Women's Ministry. We do events twice a year, usually in the spring and fall. Our fall event will be about Harvey and dealing with it's aftermath. We are calling it "Texas Strong". Here are a few of the things I've been working on for this event.
Crafts look awesome. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
